Sidekick Lister helps online sellers turn photos into marketplace listings and manage those listings across the marketplaces they connect. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address and name, used to sign you in and to reach you about your account.
• Marketplace connections. When you connect a marketplace such as eBay or Etsy, that marketplace gives us an access token through its official sign-in. We store tokens encrypted and use them only to list, update, and end your listings, read your orders for your own sales records, and keep your inventory in sync. We never see or store your marketplace password.
• Listing content. The photos, titles, descriptions, prices, and item details you create in Sidekick Lister, and the listings we publish on your behalf.
• Sales and order data. Orders, fees, and payouts from your connected marketplaces, so your Sales and Profit and Loss pages can show your own numbers.
• Usage data. Basic technical logs (pages requested, errors, browser type) needed to run and secure the service.

How we use it

• To create, publish, update, and end listings on the marketplaces you connect, only when you ask us to.
• To generate listing text and item details from your photos. Photos and text you provide are processed by third-party AI providers under contract with us for that purpose only. They do not use your content to train their models.
• To show your own sales, fees, and profit inside the app.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

What we never do

• We never sell your data or your listings.
• We never share your data with other sellers or with advertisers.
• We never post, edit, or end a listing without an action from you.
• We never store marketplace passwords.

Marketplace data

Data we receive from a connected marketplace is used only to provide the features described above and is handled according to that marketplace's developer terms. Etsy data is cached only as long as its API terms allow and is refreshed from Etsy. Disconnecting a marketplace in Settings removes its access token from our systems immediately; you can also revoke access from the marketplace's own settings.

The term "Etsy" is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. Ask us to delete your account and we remove your account, listings, and connected-marketplace tokens from our systems; marketplace listings already published remain on the marketplace under your account there. Server backups age out within 30 days.

Security

Marketplace tokens are encrypted at rest. Connections use HTTPS. Access to production systems is limited to the people who run the service.

Your choices

You can disconnect any marketplace, delete listings, or delete your account at any time from Settings, or by contacting us.
